Today I Have Mainly Been Baking Muffins

Hmmmm, in a distracted moment, I was caught off guard and somehow I ended up agreeing to bake cakes for a charity sale next week. Thing is, I can't bake. Really, can't bake. Possibly due to my inability to stick to a recipe. I resent following the ingredients, measurements and instructions - it stifles my creativity :o

So, three batches of muffins later, I have ten blueberry muffins that are passable. I also have a sunken lamington. I suspect my efforts may end up in the bin several hours before the cake sale, but I won't be there, so I can simply drop them off (I really wish I could do this ​anonymously) and walk away feeling that I've done my bit to contribute to a good cause.
